Let It Snow

It aint half blowing a gale outside .

The garden fence is noisily rocking in the posts , and there's a few clangs and bangs going on . I'm glad to be warm and cosy indoors with the heating on and my scented candles flickering on the mantlepiece . I'm half watching the tv and thinking about my fetal heart beat monitor arriving by currier tomorrow .

Last night we were forcast snow / sleet .

My partners mum told me 6pm - watching my face light up ! .

Well we were on our way home from the cinema at twenty to six and I was watching the dark skies in anticipation . Bang on 6pm we had an almighty hail storm , that lasted just a few minutes before subsiding and staying clear until late in the night , when a sprinkeling of snow finally arrived .

My partner peeped out of the curtains this morning , knowing I'd be excited if the street was all white and sparkeling .

Thru blurry eyes , I saw the snow on the rooftops , and squealed excitedly , but alas when I looked out on the garden it was only a smattering and very soon melted in the morning light .

I wonder if Preston will see a decent snowfall , like the rest of the uk is forcast ? .

Do you share my enthusiasm for snow ? or are you dreading it ? .

I love looking at the snow, taking photos and then saying goodbye to it! I am hoping it doesnt reach the south of England!

No snow here in Yorkshire, we always seem to miss out! I'd love a little bit of snow so we can all play outside in it and go have a snowball fight! Come on snow where are you?

&oceonblue ah , where are you from ? , I guess you live in a warm climate . Snow is lovely when its fresh , crisp and white , but on the roads with traffic it soon turns to a horrible dirty slush emoticon  and England does grind to a standstill just because of a few inches of the stuff ! .

It´s waiting until I get back. I can just imagine furniture removal men sliding down one of those steep streets in Darwen clinging on to a sofa of mine LOL xx
