A-W Challenge Day 2

I began the yesterday and as pointed out in the comments of the writing I finished yesterday, the challenge was to be completed in one day, but I do not have that kind of time and so I am doing one category per day until I can get each category completed. If I have time, I will do more than one per day, but for now that is the best I can do.

The category today is a challenge to me as I was not sure of what anime was. I done a search on Bing and found that it is a form of Japanese animation. The characters are usually hand drawn or computer generated. Anime is usually full of colorful and vibrant graphics and characters as well as fantastic themes.

As I was thinking about some of the things that I might have seen along these lines, I realized that most of this would be cartoon type programs and I rarely ever see cartoons these days. The cartoons of my time were more Bugs Bunny, The Flintstones and The Jetsons. I am well aware that none of these are Japanese forms of animation.

I also thought of the Yu-Gi-Oh! craze that there was several years ago and I remember my son watching many of these types of shows. I would say that it is a good example of the Japanese anime.

Thanks to this challenge I learned a little about something new today! Have you learned anything new on this site today?

There are two challenges actually. The A_W category challenge has no time limit because you have to write 36 posts.
The comment challenge (by ) is one in which you leave a comment on one post in each category. That's 36 comments to be written in one day if you can manage. Anyway the challenges are supposed to be fun so do not stress over them and enjoy writing

Well, I must have just read the posts wrong or confused myself somehow. Anyway, I am enjoying my challenge writing.
