Dogs and Cats

It has to be said that dogs and to some extent cats really are good for the mood (most the time!) I have both a cat and a dog and whilst the cat is affectionate it is definitely on her terms. My dog, a staffordshire bull terrier, on the other hand is the most adorable thing you could want to meet.

She appears to have a sixth sense with regards to moods, if i am down she comes over for a cuddle, if i am upset she lays across my lap and if i am happy she brings her toys.

I really cant understand how people can mistreat an animal, a dog loves you unconditionally, always forgives, and finds everything exciting. it is so nice to come home to a waggy tail and really cheers me up.

I think that a pet can give someone a purpose and given the right upbringing you have a friend for many years.

I agree, it confuses me that people can harm animals. They need love and care, not pain. I would be lost without my 4 cats, they are part of the family

Yes. I too do not understand why many do not like animals. If only they took time to know them. They are better than human beings in several ways.

Pets definitely feel our mood and work with us to improve it! My dog is the best to make me cheer up, no human can ever help the way he does! They are just selfless.

yeah, why people can toss the cat into a microwave oven and toss a pup into a washing machine. Can you imagine that? I love my old cat, she always lay down on my feet

This is Guiness the Cat. Of COURSE, cats interact on their own terms. That's because cats know best about everything.
