Television Review – The Big Bang Theory – The Expedition Approximation

Spoiler alerts

Sheldon and Raj decide to move into one of the university’s maintenance tunnels for a week to simulate black-matter physics experiments being conducted in deep hot mine shafts. They seem to be coping OK until Sheldon discovers rats in the corridor.

Leonard and Penny fall out over money when Penny tries paying Leonard back money he gave her as a gift at a time when she needed it. The engaged couple rashly seek advice from Howard & Bernadette only to find their married friends have the same problems only worse.

A contrived episode spoilt by the closing lines being used in the frequently repeated trailer but the Penny / Leonard story arc works well enough.

I cannot believe that anyone can genuinely find this show entertaining.

That episode with tunnel and rats was one of the funniest.

I love that show, the rerun of Sheldon coming home after his long train trip just went off here.

The Big Bang Theory is one of the few network shows that I watch regularly. We record it so our sons can catch up on it when they come home to visit.

I roared over this one, it was a hoot watching Shelden's OCD go crazy in the tunnels, and Raj's fastidiousness. One of my favourite television series out there.

I like this show, but I liked the earlier episodes more than I like the current ones. It feels like the dumbed it down a bit which I think was a mistake.
