Introduction for Secre

I've been a member of many different reviewing and blogging sites over the years, most notably Ciao and Triond, and have a great fondness for both reviewing products that interest me and blogging about political, religious or any other subject matter that takes my fancy. We all know that a fortune can't be made out of online writing, it's the love and enjoyment of it that keeps me coming back and continuing to write. I work for Cancer Research as a Data Manager at a busy trials unit in the West Midlands. I find this to be a fulfilling and I know that the work I do will have an impact on medical research and care for cancer patients in many years to come. It's not always the easiest of work but it's usually extremely satisfying. In terms of hobbies, online writing has to be one of the largest hobbies I have. Reviews, blogs and in the last year or so fanfic have a huge part in my life and will continue to do so for a long time into the future. I enjoy playing (and then reviewing) 3DS games and older console games such as the PS1 or the N64. Never quite got further than the PS2 in my large console gaming I have to admit.

An honourable position to hold in a great organisation Cancer Research, I have raised quite a bit for them over the years as well as Mcmillan and other charities. You sound as if you have been around online for a while so I will spare you the sadness of some of the sites I have been on ... welcome and enjoy!

Yep, been on Triond, Ciao, Dooyoo, Helium a variety of blogs, Fanfiction.net and the ill fated Bubbws or whatever it was called for a very brief stint. Overall the only two I'm still truly active on are Ciao and Fanfiction.net for various reasons. Generally I like to try new sites and then see whether they're worth sticking around on. Triond was until the pay went ridiculous after a couple of years and the admin team was atrocious, Bubs didn't merit me sticking for more than a couple of posts!

If only I had time to flitter through the sites, my cognitive state only allows one maybe two at a push although I will probably sacrifice one of them to join a photo site like Fine Art America and put some of mine on.

In fairness I can only cope with one or two at a time, it's only when I decide to give up and move on that I find somewhere else! Ciao's worthwhile if you have a UK bank account - doesn't pay a fortune but I can usually make between £20-50 a month on it nowadays. The UK bank account bit may be problemmatic for many though!

I thought Ciao was a holiday destination site for Italy, just shows. emoticon  £20 to £50 is good, my writing is good but I'm more of a daft poet type, don't let that put you off reading my sometimes serious stuff.

Welcome to yet another PPer.
I have lost count of the number of writing sites I have been dabbling in but as of now I am concentrating here as I like it here not so much for the earnings but for the quality of the site and the community.

Welcome to the site.

Triond, that's one name I haven't heard in a while. That's the site that pays for music reviews right? Or did I mix up sites again?
