Frigid Temperatures Make for Nice Photos

Lots of cold temperatures to wake up to this morning. Three degrees. But the sun is shining and hopefully things will warm up a bit. No snow like a lot are experiencing. The willow tree in the photo is my neighbor's I took awhile back. I could not resist snapping a photo as the ice made it stand out on a dreary cold day.

How is the weather in your neck of the woods? Such extreme weather all over the country it seems. But it is what it is. I am still looking forward to spring. It will be here soon enough I suppose. In the meantime I will snuggle up with my two cats and hope for a warmer day.

Have a great day and remember to savor the moments!

We had frost and fog this morning, but I didn't get up early enough to get more than a couple snaps thru the car window as I was already late for work :( Pity, the ridge behind us was way cool in the fog.

You could have gotten some nice shots I am sure but work has to come first!

It is 21 degrees here right now. Was 9 this morning, which is very cold for Georgia. I love snow pictures. I got to take some last year cause we actually had snow.

The cold here seems mind-shattering in its intensity. I am one who walks around without a coat most of the time, but this arctic blast is beyond my comfort level. Then, to make things more fun, the pipes have frozen again.

I don't like coats either but was forced to war one this morning. Yikes, frozen pipes. Sorry.

Our weather is from one extreme to another. Cold then hot then cold, crazy.

Yes very pretty but I still prefer a lovely blue sky and hot sunshine!!

It's quite mild here after our bit of snow over the Christmas hols. I expect we'll see some more snow before long though.

I told my boyfriend that he is not to go wandering off too far until this is resolved. He gets cabin fever, and he wants to go out. I did send him off to fetch food, though, since most of what I have really necessitates having running water.

Hi there! Good to see you. It is winter so we can expect the same.

We don't have much choice do we really - we have cold and damp here so not at all pretty!

It was nice enough today that I didn't have to bundle up much. It was cloudy, though.

We are at the other extreme to you people in the USA . Talk about extreme !!! We have just had a day 43 degrees C ( = 109F) with associated Wildfires and now we are , according to weather forecasts going to get a 'dump' of rain which will cause flooding :)

I used to be enchanted with ice and snow when I was a kid. Everything looked like a fairy tale.
