The 7,000-Coin Mark - A Little Late with the Update

Sorry I haven't been here for a couple of days. I missed you! I also missed celebrating about getting to the 7,000-coin mark on the day that it happened, which was also the day I submitted my three-part story, Water Leak Woes ( Part One is here ). Believe it or not, my tenant left a message yesterday about yet ANOTHER leak; this one is coming from the tank of a toilet that is brand new--just installed it right before she moved in (okay, almost two years ago, but for a toilet, that's brand new, am I right?). This shizzle never ends, eh?

But hey, it's a celebration, not a pity party! And this time, getting another thousand coins is even more exciting, because due to the new higher exchange rate, it's worth 50% more, as are all the other coins before it. I knew it was the right choice not to cash out right away!

I hit the 6,000 mark on November 28, 2014 ( the article for that is here ), so it's taken 38 days, but we have to take into consideration the super slowdown that occurred over the holidays--and also the fact that my slackdoodle butt only produced 20 articles that whole time. But hey, there's a place here at Persona Paper for the slackdoodles and the "yams" (people who don't write a lot but who read posts and leave comments-- I yam what I yam)! I honestly think that those three posts might be my record for daily submissions so far--whew, I'm tired just thinking about it!

The vegetable picture may seem odd, but it happens to be pic number 7000 on Pixabay, so I'm saying that it represents my money, which is green--and growing!

First things first. I am happy about your coins. Keep it up.
Now about leakage.Do you know where it shows is not the spot where the trouble normally is. You have to search for the spot. Good Luck.

Congratulations. Your slackadoodle butt is doing fine if I may say so and is an inspiration for us all emoticon :winking: emoticon

Congratulations, Ali! And as for that damn toilet- this is exactly the kind of crap I have to deal with every single day at work. Leaks and clogs are the biggest headache for me, and though I know they're job security, they can get tiresome at times. Good luck with that!!

AliCanary Congrats you are certainly leading the way. I just got my first 4K but more than the coins I am excited about the immediate future of Persona Paper.

Well done. I have just 209 coins but I only started on here 4 days ago so I guess I am still finding my feet

AliCanary wrote on January 13, 2015, 9:37 AM

Thank you! Yep, I will have someone check it properly.

AliCanary wrote on January 13, 2015, 9:37 AM

Yep, green is as good in the wallet as in the tummy :)

AliCanary wrote on January 13, 2015, 9:50 AM

I still do have the option to cash out at the old rate, but I don't mind waiting.

AliCanary wrote on January 13, 2015, 9:51 AM

No worries, I was there once, too, so you can be where I am in a little while!

peachpurple wrote on January 14, 2015, 1:08 AM

AliCanary wrote on January 16, 2015, 6:19 AM

It took a long time, but I think it will get easier , now that more people are here. You can do it, too!

AliCanary wrote on January 16, 2015, 6:23 AM

And today I see that you have already surpassed 2,000! You are doing an amazing job, here--congratulations!

AliCanary wrote on January 16, 2015, 6:30 AM

Thanks. Just think how well I would do here if I had anything like a work ethic. :D

AliCanary wrote on January 16, 2015, 6:30 AM

I have so much fun with Pixabay!

AliCanary wrote on January 16, 2015, 6:36 AM

Thanks! Now that there are more people here, there are some younger peeps who are tearing up the joint and I will soon be eclipsed, but no worries. It's nice that it will be easier to get to the next milestone!

AliCanary wrote on January 16, 2015, 6:38 AM

Well, it was just what Pixabay gave me for 7000 --the creative part was trying to explain why it fit with article ;)

AliCanary wrote on January 16, 2015, 6:52 AM

Oh, I'm sure it took me at least a couple of weeks to get that many--you're going to be fine. Welcome to PP!

AliCanary wrote on January 16, 2015, 6:53 AM

I think you are just happy in general. I can hear that Pharrell song playing as you walk by. :)

nbaquero wrote on January 16, 2015, 7:34 AM

AliCanary Yes, with more people joining and interacting getting to the final goal seems to be a little easier, still it needs work and dedication.

CoralLevang wrote on January 17, 2015, 9:38 PM

Oh, hell....forget the work ethic. Keep doing what you love and you will have "enough." ;)
