What do you collect?
I have various collections, the one at the moment that I am enjoying is my Mugs!
I re-arrange them, use them all the time, have certain ones for tea, certain ones for coffee, certain ones for certain people! Mugs are always used in pairs too - if hubby and I are both having a cup of something, then I will use two cups of the same style. The problem is getting hubby to conform - he sees these mugs as "very nice dear!" but they are functional. A mug is a mug surely? Nooooooo
None of my mugs are particularly expensive, so they are use as well as ornament! I have many others, so the shelf often gets re-arranged, however the time has now come that I have to stop buying them, as I only give myself problems. So I am going to move on, and hubby (bless him) is going to make me a new shelf unit for my next obsession (collection) - Teapots!
Brightly coloured, decorative tea pots. I cannot wait for the spring to come and start going to the car boot sales to make a start on this! Tea pots are ok, more mugs on display would make me the "mad mug lady" I am told!!! and we can't have that!

I used to collect record albums, 78's, 45's, Rolling Stone magazines, Rock Scene magazines, newspapers and books, until my wife taught me the difference between "collecting" and "hoarding"...

I do actually have a small collection of mugs, but it was started for practical purposes. Nowadays I tend to go self catering whenever I take a holiday because I do not intend to be tied to meal times by my accommodation. The one problem is that usually provide cup and saucer, which is of no use for a decent cup of coffee. My trick is to visit the local gift shop and buy a souvenir mug to use instead, which I end up bringing home with me.

I collect money. Unfortunately, I keep spending it, so I don't have a very big collection.

I just love pretty pottery. I started a collection of Portmeirion once, but it´s so expensive. I also love blue and white pottery and spice jars.

This is Guiness the Cat. I asked Debbi what she collected, and she said cat hair. I'm not sure what she means by that.

I have a pig collection - anything that has a pig design or is designed as a pig like pillows, stuffed toys, piggy bank, key chains, blankets and a lot more!

I collect drinking mugs from the places I visit and I also collect refrigerator magnets from the places I visit.
