Lost My Balance Rewards Points
One of my New Year's goals is to get back on track with my walking, and also to get back to tracking my steps on Walgreens' Balance Rewards Healthy Choices program so that I can earn Balance Rewards points.
Between previous walking and shopping deals, I had collected quite a large amount of points that I was saving for the maximum amount off a large shopping trip. I'd gotten out of the habit of tracking my steps, though, and it has been quite a while since I've entered any walks. I knew it had been awhile since I'd shopped Walgreens since I'm normally only in there for a good deal and they haven't tempted me with many recently. I didn't realize it had been that long until I logged into my account today to log my steps and found I had zero points.
A check of the Terms and Conditions revealed that an account will be deemed inactive if their card is not used in a transaction for six consecutive calendar months, and points will be forfeited.
It was very disappointing to lose that many points, but I should have read the terms more carefully and stayed on top of it. So now I'm starting over, but at least I have 120 new points just for doing something healthy.
