My First Dog Shaming

I always love looking through the many many "dog shaming" photos that are spreading like wildfire across the internet! I think they're really cute and funny.

Well, today I had to make my very own dog shaming photo because my dog was very very naughty!

I saw a grasshopper fly into our pool, and I couldn't just let it drown. So I got a long piece of iron and fished it out from the middle of our pool. Then, as it held onto the pipe, I gently led it to a flower bush in our yard. I placed it on some of the flowers. I walked away and as I was exiting the pool area I turned around and then my Tinkerbell ate the grasshopper!!! Oh I was soooo mad!!! She would not halt her attack even when I yelled "NO!" at her.

I'm upset by the whole incident, but I must admit it makes a very cute "shaming!" I'm not sure she looks very sorry though...is it just me or is she smirking??

Lol she does look quite pleased with herself, poor grasshopper.

Ears are down appropriately for "feeling sorry" but she does look like she's got a little smirk going there, maybe she's not so sorry after all.

Haha she definitely doesn't! Now, any time she sees me walking around the pool she'll follow me to see if I pull anymore "snacks" out! I'm much more vigilant now! Haha

Yeah I'm one of those odd few that care about the lives of insects! Lol. I'm always saving bugs - literally just saved a fly from one of the dogs about 10 minutes ago...a little crazy of me I know. Lol

She doesn't look sorry at all. In fact I believe i see a smile there on her face

I'm afraid she's smirking. That's the initial thought I had when I looked at the photograph..a very cute photograph I must say. Animals can be so naughty but we always forgive them. Back at Mum's a mouse is currently hiding underneath the bureau (a mouse I inadvertently let in a few days ago as it was dangling from the cat's mouth as I let one of the cats in at the back door) so the mouse managed to get away and crawl beneath the washing-machine. Evidently, it's now got out from there and is now underneath the bureau. Mum knows this as the two cats are watching it like a hawk!

I think she is smirking. What kind of dog is she. She looks similar to my Bambi who I could see eating the poor grasshopper also.

Oh no! I hope the mouse gets out of there alive! I actually have 3 mice as pets right now - one was just killed not too long ago by one of our Chihuahuas. It was horrible. But yes, we do always forget our fur babies!

I adopted her, my best guess is that she is a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix. She definitely has a Chihuahua face, but she has the long legs and body of an Italian Greyhound (just more meaty). Haha

I think Bambi is beagle terrier mix. But I would not call Bambi long legged either. Very pretty

I'm constantly saving all manner of wildlife from my cats! Flies, spiders, frogs, mice, birds. I'm just glad they don't seem quick enough to catch squirrels!!
