Green Bay Packer Fans in this house
As you will find out from my posts, I am a huge Green Bay Packers fan.
My Granny who is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan actually bought this outfit for my daughter for Christmas. I was so excited for my daughter to receive it; it was more like a present for me than a present for my daughter....LOL
I was so surprised that my Granny bought it for her since she is a Steelers fan.
Well, this picture was taken the Sunday after Christmas. The Packers had a home game at Lambeau field against a division rival - The Detroit Lions. A win for either team meant they were NFC North Champions and a win meant a bye week. Aaron Rodgers who is Green Bay's star quarterback got injured and so we needed the bye week for him to recuperate.
It was a difficult and nasty win but it was a win.
We had the bye week this last weekend during Wild Card week. The Detroit Lions played the Dallas Cowboys at the Dallas stadium. Dallas won.
I am not too worried about Dallas. They are used to playing in a dome/covered stadium. It will be VERY cold at Lambeau. They are actually calling it The ICE BOWL II.
We shall see how this game goes.
Rodgers' calf is improving so if he is 100% on Sunday. Dallas is in serious trouble!!!!
I am always confident that my guys can get the win but I am also a realist and know that things happen.
I am very superstitious when it comes to football as well. I have a Green Bay Packers purse that the strap broke on but I won't change it out until after WE WIN THE SUPER BOWL.

I like your Granny, as I am a huge Steelers fan. I was lucky enough to get to see them play at Lambeau a few years back. It was a fantastic experience, and I have to say that when the Steelers are out of the playoffs as they are now, I pull for the Packers.

What a cute outfit for your daughter! I'm a Cowboy fan and while I love my team, I agree with you that the Packers will win, especially if Rodgers is anywhere close to 100%. Honestly I think the Packers will go all the way and it will be Packers vs Patriots in the Super Bowl, well see. We're a diverse group in our house, I'm a Cowboy fan, hubby is a Lions fan and my youngest son likes the Colts and Chiefs and my two older kids couldn't care less about football. lol

Your daughter couldn't be cuter in that outfit! My favorite NFL TEAM is the Seattle Seahawks but your team is very good this year, they might make it to the superbowl !

I'm not a Green Bay or Dallas fan. I'm a Lion fan and we didn't do too well against Green Bay. The refs ruined it for us in Dallas. Still, I'd rather the Packers would win than the Cowboys.

It is always great to meet another Packers fan! I have been a Green Bay fan all of my life since I was born, grew up, and lived in Wisconsin during the Lombardi era. After going into the Navy and moving to Maryland and eventually overseas to Thailand, I have continued to follow the Packers. I would really be in heaven and on cloud nine if the Pack beats Seattle and goes to the Superbowl.

I thought that your Packers had the NFC Championship today. What a defense! And Russell Wilson just didn't seem like he could get his act together. BUT...those last few minutes of regulation, and the last two passes in OT...were incredible for the Hawks. I hope it's a good game between the Patriots and Seahawks in two weeks.
