Hibiscus Raindrops

Hibiscus blooms are the best. I have a tree on my deck each year and it will bloom from spring until fall. Then I bring it indoors and it continues to bloom. The hibiscus is tropical so it enjoys the sunshine. I love the huge saucer sized blooms. I always try to keep the crimson hibiscus as I love the color. I place the tree close to my deck hummingbird feeder. They are attracted to the red blooms which allows for photos. The butterflies also enjoy the hibiscus. All of these reasons are why I keep a hibiscus tree year round.

Nature has so much to offer. I am patiently waiting on spring to arrive in a few months. In the meantime I will continue feeding the birds and making sure they have fresh water.

Very pretty flower. Yours are a nice color, and raindrops always make a photo better.

Beautiful picture, I'm not sure what it is about raindrops on flowers, but pictures like that give me a cool and refreshing feeling.

They are very beautiful blooms! And the tea is supposed to be good for one's health too!

You are so lucky, we don't get enough sunshine for such flowers to grow well here. The house is built on some weird slant direction wise as well so we only have one room that gets full sun, or indeed any sun and that's our bedroom so plants tend to come here to die

Thanks, they are on of my favorite blooms due to their size and vivid color. I have read about the tea.

Can you have plants indoors? I bring this one indoors over the winter and it does great.

They are lovely flowers. They aren't suited at all to this region, though.

This is beautiful Carol! We sometimes see Hibiscus here, but I suspect we don't get warm enough for it to be really happy in my neck of the woods!
