Bird of Paradise

Hello my friends

It is my first post here at this platform. I have been looking for platforms where I could share my thoughts, my travel experiences and photos that I take whenever I am out of my house. And while wandering in the desolate places of internet, I came across Persona Papers and thought to halt and interact with people here.

I have seen some very interesting posts, photos and thoughts and I think I can contribute to the community positively and make friends that come from across the globe.

I am sharing my first photo of a beautiful flower called the Bird of Paradise. This is also called Strelitzia. It comes in many colours – but its majestic look remains unique as compared to all other flowers. A crown on its head makes it look like a king – and definitely a flower from the heavens. That is why it is called the Bird of Paradise.

I have taken this from my home garden where this heavenly flower majestically adorns my garden. I may mention here that gardening is the joint hobby of me and my wife. And I thought this beautiful flower to be the subject of my first post here.

Ahhh, i love birds of paradise flowers. They remind my of the beach and Hawaii. They look kind of like hummingbirds too...super cute. :) Welcome to the community by the way. :)

That is an unusual, striking looking flower. I hadn't heard of this flower before
