Cookie - Is She a Dog or a Cuddly Toy?

Below is a picture of my friend Cookie. No, I'm not gay. Cookie belongs to my daughter's boy friend and the three of them came to visit for Christmas. My Wife bought Cookie a tiny sweater as a Christmas present and Cookie seemed to like it and didn't rip it off at the first opportunity as she did with her Santa outfit!

She did look funny running around the garden chasing squirrels and pigeons in the sweater. It's a wonder the squirrels didn't roll around laughing at her instead of running away.

Cookie is really a lovely dog (in spite of appearances). She is now about 2 years old and is very affectionate and playful although she is too small to have a proper fight with on the floor! We are sometimes tempted to get a dog of our own and if we ever did I think it would be a bit bigger than Cookie!

Do you ever fancy a dog or do you already have one?

Ah, she's gorgeous! But you haven't mentioned the teeth!

She is very cute. I have a doberman and 2 beagle mixs. I would be afraid of stepping on one that small.

I have two dogs =) Cookie is very cute, and so is the sweater. My dogs don't wear clothes, not on purpose. Sometimes my daughter will put a shirt on Simon but he doesn't like to keep things on. For awhile before and shortly after Christmas, both dogs had little jester bell red and white Christmasy collars on, but eventually they found a way to pull them off. I took a picture of Simon with the collar around his middle closer to his tail and titled it 'my dog is wearing a tutu'.

Awww, she's adorable! I've had 3 chi's, all fawn colored. We lost our Baby about a year and a half ago, but now have an adorable fur-baby of mixed breed. Jemimah Josephine thinks I'm her Momma, and I take her everywhere with me!

What a cute little dog. I do fancy having a dog one day, but at the moment I am having to make the most of the visits from my sister's dog. I have a cat and I don't think she would take very well to a new pet in the house, certainly not a dog. She was bullied a bit by the boy cats I used to have and now they have passed on I think she is actually enjoying being the only animal in the house. She is much more confident, less nervous, so I wouldn't want to spoil that for her.
