Goa's Anjuna Flea Market...

As promised in my last post, here is the 2nd must visit place when you to Goa...

Flea Markets

The most famous flea market in is the Anjuna flea market which is held every Wednesday from 8 am till late in the evening. The market is located at the Anjuna-Beach which explains the origin of the market’s name.

Many items are available for sale in this market from carvings, clothes, footwear and paintings. This is the ideal place to buy a souvenir to remind you of the visit.

The prices of the items are not fixed thus it would help if you could get a local to assist you with the purchases. Like in many tourist destinations, traders are more likely to sell items at exorbitant to a tourist than a local.

I remember visiting that place many years ago. You need to have an expert around to get the best deal.

I love flea markets they are big in Texas and some take days to complete. Most are full of people trying to find that great deal.
