Apologies in Advance for Absence
It may not have entirely escaped your attention that tomorrow the world generally returns to work.
I have been back at work since 29 December, giving me 4 days to catch up with what the boss wants done by tomorrow and send out some emails asking for other things to be completed by the end of the month as well.
Bossgal is back tomorrow (the Ops Manager) and I am hoping she's left her horrible bad mood somewhere else as it was decidedly trying last time she was in. However also back are all the other members of the department whom I've been trying to reach by email since before Christmas. They may have been enjoying a much needed fortnight's break but mine is yet to begin so while I'm off enjoying myself, they can be dealing with my emailed requests and clogging up my inbox.
I don't foresee much spare time between now and Thursday, so if I'm not here, do not worry. I have a lot to fit in between now and then. I'll be around until the end of the day, maybe tomorrow night, but there is a lot of writing to get through and the email traffic tomorrow will be high, as everyone responds to requests for information, so I may decide that an evening away from the screen would be a good idea. I do have a Conn Iggulden book to finish, after all.
