I love my Tassimo machine!

I bought my first Tassimo machine a couple of years back, secondhand as I didn't know if I would like it or use it enough. I was a very rare coffee drinker, as I was a complete coffee snob and HATED instant coffee. It was never worth brewing a pot for just me during the day and I can't stand coffee which has been standing around for too long either. Fussy mare, aren't I?

I think I picked up my secondhand Braun machine (Tassimo machines are now Bosch) for around £20. The seller gave me a couple of Kenco T-discs with it and I brewed one up the next morning. I was amazed by how nice the brew was, and how fast! That suited me down to the ground as I don't like having to wait around for a kettle to boil and then let it filter through coffee grounds and, ok, you get the picture, I am impatient! To that end it suits me down to the ground as I can have a piping hot cup of coffee, in my hand within one minute!

I have a bit of an obsession with red kitchen appliances, and when I had had my machine for around a year, I decided to upgrade it for a red one. I upgraded to the T65 Charmy machine, and the one I got was actually a German model as it had the continental plug on it - and you couldn't find one of that model in red in this country at the time. It was a little more advanced than the first machine as it had a built in filter and looked a lot more snazzy. Shortly after I got it, Tassimo brought out a range of Costa coffees and I now no longer need to leave the house as I can get a perfect Costa Latte in my own home.

I suppose it could get a little expensive if you're the kind of person who drinks 15 cups of coffee, but if you enjoy one or two cups a day, it is perfect. Oh and the hot chocolates are pretty scrummy too :)
