Happy Birthday To My Late Father!

Hey, everyone, it's been a while. Sorry about that.

I wrote about my Daddy on two other websites, and I wanted to write about him on here too. He is the one who introduced me to writing online, so I think it's only fitting that I write about him on all three websites.

My Daddy would have been 65 years old today. We were going to go to the cemetery today, but unfortunately some of us are under the weather. Dad would NOT have wanted anyone standing out in the cold while they are sick, believe me when I tell you lol.

I think about my Daddy, and I "talk" to him every day. We all still talk about him a lot, and we still write on his Facebook wall. Those are the things that help us deal with him not physically being with us anymore. We know he is here in spirit.

Happy Birthday, Daddy, you're with those we have already lost now, including your own parents. I love you to the moon and back, and I miss you to pieces. Rest in Peace, Daddy.

I miss my daddy too. The day of his passing comes in March, just 4 days after Alexander's birthday (and on my now 4 yr old niece's birthday)

Aww well that is a nice way to look at it that he wouldn't want you out in the cold just to look at his grave. I used to go to my husbands grave a lot with my kids when my husband first died but I honestly can't even tell you the last time I went. Maybe in the summer? My kids didn't like going it made them sad so I would go while they were in school. I think the last time we went my son asked me to go see his fathers grave which was surprising.

Thank you so much, and I am sorry for the late response. I am so sorry to hear about your husband, and I hope you are doing well. I may go this summer if I can get a ride up there.
