Gardening For Pleasure

Gardens are such fun . One of the only places you can stamp your personality on, filling them with colour or shrubs. No one to tell you what to do just get on with it. We spend hours in our garden trimming, mowing the grass and maybe planting a few new shrubs every year. Our garden does not look much at the moment because of the winter months but in the summer it comes to life and full of colour. Gardening is our main hobby and we spend hours making it look nice. Do You enjoy gardening or is it a chore that has to be done.

We plant annuals and have started to plant up hanging baskets which look lovely with all the flowers like busy lizzies and geraniums growing and hanging down. Such a pretty sight against a wall.

HI, I do love gardening but living with water restrictions in the desert it is difficult I mainly concentrate on my front garden. I have shrubs, and trees with flowers at some times over the year. Happy gardening.

I love gardening, but most of the time we don't live where my garden is. Ironically, while I am living here it's because my physical activity is limited to walking and I can't do any bending over or using other gardening muscles. We've been here since April, and during April I had foot surgery and my mobility was limited. When I finally get my restrictions lifted it will be time to go home and I'll have to start working on taxes. My husband badly wants to move back home, and I don't.

Keeping a garden tidy if your mobility is limited is very difficult. I do hope your foot surgery gets better soon. You seem to like where you are more maybe your husband will change his mind.

We are waiting for the spring time so we can get out there. Our grass is so long it really needs mowing. The weather keeps warming up a bit and the grass grows a bit more. Then it stops growing when the temperature drops a gain. funny weather we are having for the time of year.
