Old friends, new meetings

I am very pleased as I look around this site to see people I did not want to lose contact with but who, like me, don't wear fire proof clothing and so get burned!

Those of you who don't know me are probably the lucky ones as I have not yet tied your brains in knots, I repeat... Yet lol

I daresay that over the next few days I will be able to renew some contacts and meet new writers as I find my way around this site.

I do like how it seems to be laid out and seems easy to navigate through. However, if I don't hit hubby with a shovel soon I won't get any sleep at all, considering our grandson is staying overnight and will wake me in two and a half hours.

Looking forward to reading more posts and positivity.

Welcome. We probably met along the way somewhere. It seems writers travel in the same circles. This is a really nice, down to earth site with honest owners. It matters so much to me that the people running the site are honest and transparent and the people here definitely are.

I am meeting so many people from bubbles on this site and it is great to be here. Looking forward to your posts and my hubby snores as well. We love them but they drive us mad sometimes.

I saw your name last night and was pleased to find I can still read your posts irrespective of what I decide about the other place emoticon

Honesty is vital for trust to exist. I understand that companies and people make mistakes but to lie about things is intolerable in my eyes.

Did you use the same name on that other site? If so, I feel guilty about 'missing you' so to speak. Glad to bump into you now, however.

Hi there! Good to see you here. I am new and am seeing a lot of familiar names.

mrsmerlin wrote on January 6, 2015, 5:56 PM

Hi, you probably have seen me there yes. as someone said on another post it is hard to place people sometimes when the picture changes so please forgive me for not recognising you immediately

mrsmerlin wrote on January 6, 2015, 5:58 PM

Yes I always use this name on blogging and writing sites - using my own causes problems for people. Not the Rita part but the Krafczyk part - hubby is German by birth and people get tied up with the surname and forget everything else lol. It would be good if they allowed nouns in scrabble though

mrsmerlin wrote on January 6, 2015, 5:59 PM

Hi I know I know your name - if I have it right this isn't your name but a family member, yes? Hope so or I'm thinking of totally the wrong person

Janey1966 wrote on January 6, 2015, 6:44 PM

Yes it would although I've not played Scrabble for years..or Monopoly come to that!
