New Year: New Resolutions

I am not one who usually makes New Year's resolutions. I found out a long time ago, back when I used to really make resolutions...that I am just setting myself up for disappointment. As we all know, most resolutions do not stick. Some resolve to diet...and then get discouraged when they fail on their resolution....

That is why I set up what I call Happy Goals...

I vow every year to spend more time with loved ones...take more relaxing days...and to learn a new item/skill.

I haven't failed yet in making these types of Happy New Years they are fun, exciting and beneficial.

How about you make New Years Resolutions? Do you have a hard time sticking to your resolutions?

Like you, I gave up on resolutions. It is so sad to make a whole list of resolutions only to fail to reach any of them. So I just make plans to improve my future one day at a time.

Hi, I have given up making resolutions as I never keep them. This year I am actually starting a new job which should be very exciting and of course challenging. Have a great day.

I like your resolutions. You know what's important in life. I like to set up goals for myself, I try to make them realistic and manageable so that I don't set myself up for disappointment. Have a great 2015.
