In with the new and better out with the rotten

Good afternoon everyone!
First I would like to wish everyone a happy and prosperous new year, full of good health, love, happiness, many successful redemptions and anything else you might wish for yourself.

I have joined this site some two months ago but have not been active for various reasons (excuses, excuses, eh?). One of the new years resolutions involving my online activity is to write a minimum of one post a day here. Yes I know it is hardly much but baby steps are better than big overblown expectations that never get fulfilled.

I am in a bit of a mood today as I am coming from Bubblews and the news of what is happening there has left me with a loss of $300.

Today will be spent going through my posts there, deleting them and saving the evergreen ones.

How has everyone spent their New Years Ever? I hope you all had fun?

I am also a Bubblews immigrant. I am glad to see there are more alternatives out there. I had a good new year, until I saw the bombshell they dropped on us haha

teamshepherd wrote on January 1, 2015, 10:41 AM

Uf yeah. I was all merry logged in to wish everyone a great new year and then got a nice slap in the face :)

teamshepherd Louemham - as another refugee from Bubble Ooze (more and more are appearing on Persona Paper every week) I have been removing my worthwhile content from there. I have only one outstanding redemption ($55) and when (if) that is paid i will be gone from that site.

Hey I am here from Bubblews as well, quite a few familiar faces about here!! I cannot post yet as my account is still being authorised or something so I am having time to go round and check everyone and everything out good to see you all here emoticon

I'm sorry that so many people have been taken advantage of at other content sites, the "Big B" in particular. I'm also one who learned my lesson the hard way. The good news is, Persona Paper is the real deal in so many practical and and time-enduring ways.

One post a day is a reasonable goal -- and far exceeds what I've produced lately. I don't know if you'd be interested in taking on the Friends of Persona Paper challenge, a set of goals that some of us try to meet each month. You can find the latest post about it here if your interest is piqued: http://www.personapaper.com/article/17160-friends-of-persona-paper---end-of-year-update

Onward and Upward, Together!

Good New Year's morning! I had a quiet evening at home. Am a bit overwhelmed at the seeming mountain of work ahead of me recouping posts from Bubblews and re-purposing here and around. Cheers!

I would say one post a day is a very reasonable goal that I have yet to reach. Perhaps this will inspire me.

A nice big fat hello, Happy New Year, and welcome "back" to Persona Paper. Stick around, try to keep up with that post-a-day thought at the very least, and enjoy yourself here.

teamshepherd wrote on January 1, 2015, 1:15 PM

Ahh yes I actually registered 2 months ago so am luckily done with all that waiting :)

teamshepherd wrote on January 1, 2015, 1:16 PM

I am definitely checking that out :) thank you for including me! I will go read it now and comment further there.

teamshepherd wrote on January 1, 2015, 1:21 PM

Are we allowed to repost stuff from elsewhere? Even if deleted from other places?

teamshepherd wrote on January 1, 2015, 1:27 PM

Why did I picture a burger when reading that first part? *lesigh* hello, thank you and I am hungry.

ConstantDementia wrote on January 1, 2015, 1:51 PM

I have decided to run from bubblews like a mad man on high heels. I hope to find new and more exciting pastures here.

We're glad to see you here, &lucyuuk ! Requiring new members to be approved is one of the ways that have been effective at keeping this site free from some of the scammers and plagiarists who plagued the other site. Not many make it through, and when they do, they are usually soon removed. You'll come to appreciate that difference (among many, many, many others) after you've interacted for awhile.

OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on January 1, 2015, 1:59 PM

I'm out much less money than you. In hindsight, cutting back on how much I posted recently has paid off. I'm spending my day rescuing my content, too -- not what I had originally planned to do to celebrate New Year's Day.

I am from Bubblews getting a bit lonely on there so decided to see what all the fuss was about and they let me in. So Happy New Year.

&teamsheperd For some reason I thought you had joined in June and stayed inactive since then. Anyway, great to have you here. Wishing you a Great 2015.

Debbie wrote on January 1, 2015, 8:31 PM

Hello teamshepherd - yes I read about that over at Bubblews and I think it's awful you've lost all that cash out of your bank. Terrible. I too have been here since early December but haven't posted much. That is going to change now as this site looks lovely but I still have a lot to learn about how to navigate it etc.

Hope you got all your bubblews sorted out, did you?

Madcanman wrote on January 1, 2015, 8:47 PM

Geez ConstantDementia- A madman on high heels... now there's an image!

teamshepherd wrote on January 2, 2015, 5:26 AM

I really don't mind the wait for approval. You get to look around, get the feel for the site and it is SO much better to have some kind of moderation going on.

teamshepherd wrote on January 2, 2015, 5:27 AM

Oh I cut back a LOT on how much I posted, this is from August. I haven't earned fifty there since probably October or before.

teamshepherd wrote on January 2, 2015, 5:28 AM

It might have been then? I thought the thing said 2 months ago on here somewhere, or that might have been my last activity? Hmm you might be right!

teamshepherd wrote on January 2, 2015, 5:30 AM

Hello! We are in the same boat then as far as being newbs here emoticon  No I don't have it all sorted over on Bubblews. I have some 550 more posts to sort through. I started yesterday but it is quite time consuming. Especially having to do it one by one, going through them saving some then deleting. It will take me a few days at least.

nbaquero wrote on January 2, 2015, 5:44 AM

teamshepherd Minor detail, doesn't really matter, does it? The good thing is you are active now at Persona Paper.

teamshepherd wrote on January 2, 2015, 5:51 AM

Pffft so you show me up and fluster me and then it doesn't matter?!? How dare you! :P

nbaquero wrote on January 2, 2015, 6:02 AM

LOL! Don't tell me you were looking at your files logs and desperately going through your backups. Check out your G+ feed around June 8th, 2014 :P

LadyDuck wrote on January 2, 2015, 9:09 AM

Hello Natasia, I have lost the same amount and I am not happy at all. I joined here six months ago. I plan to be more active from now on.

teamshepherd wrote on January 2, 2015, 12:39 PM

Hey Anna! So glad to see you here :) Let me run over to follow you!

Lemark wrote on January 2, 2015, 4:57 PM

Welcome to Persona Paper. You will find many familiar faces here.

It wasn't your loss. Just no gain and a lesson learned. Maybe :) OK, I better be speaking for myself.

Have a great 2015!

zabelle51 wrote on January 3, 2015, 1:31 PM

Hi Natasa, Its Bellestarr or Isabelle whichever identifies me to you. I am here as well, seems like quite a nice site. :)
