Introduction for MStarDutchess

I'm an aspiring author set to finish up her first novel in the middle of 2015. I work full time at home as a tutor and proofreader. It's my dream to be able to write full time from home. I have several dogs and one of my many hobbies is to train them. My other hobbies include reading, writing, and dancing. My favorite food is any old fashioned comfort food, one of those being mashed potato cakes. I adore Korean barbeque and ramen noodles as well and will have them anytime I have a particularly horrid day. My favorite drink is coffee. I can get along with anyone and tend to be civil and calm even in the most stressful and ireful situations.

Mashed potato cakes (brown, brown, brown and buttery) are marvelous. But have you ever grated raw potatoes and fried those up with lots of oil and butter? Wow. Immense. Wondrous. Ridiculous!

Those are home comfort foods. The grated potatoes are amazing. Fry up some bacon, crunch it up, and then add the potatoes to that oil. It's so good.

Congratulations on your first novel. I love potato anything so I am right there with you on those mashed potato cakes. I hope we get to read more about your dogs. I love dogs so much.

Cooking in bacon grease is immense. When my wife makes breakfast for me, I ask her not to drain bacon fat, but use it to cook the eggs and/or potatoes in. Nothing could be finer.
