Is Exercise the Only Way to Stay Fit ?
Exercise is not the only way to maintain good fitness levels. We also need to eat the right food in a right quantity and at the right time to maintain good health. Eating a lot of sugar or oil will increase the body weight.
Also, salt should be taken in moderate amounts as too much or too little of it is harmful for the health . Before buying salt always check that it is iodized. Breakfast should be heavy while dinner should be light.
The right time for dinner is at least 3 hours before going to bed. Late-night dinner should always be avoided. While fruits are considered to be healthy, some of them may have sugars which may not be good for people with diabetes.
Also, as far as possible sweets should be avoided during dinner. Wholegrain foods are considered to be the best at any time of the day.
