132 children shot dead

I do not have the strength or heart or will to write anything today. My country is bathed in blood and tears and I do not know how nations can ever recover from such horrific tragedies.

I do not know whether mothers will ever be able to smile again or will fathers ever have light in their eyes again. Will the brothers and sisters of those who were brutally shot dead ever recover or be the same.

I have not stopped crying since morning even though my children are alive, but those who died while in their school uniforms were my children too. I cannot bear to watch the pictures on television. I do not need pictures to know how mothers and fathers and grandparents and family and friends and the entire country is mourning.

i can only tell you that 132 children and nine teachers were shot dead by terrorists in Peshawer today. the terrorists entered the school building and just started shooting. What followed afterwards is beyond words, beyond any description, beyond comprehension.

The innocent children are in heaven but those who did this heinous act cannot belong to human race.

That is truly incomprehensible that someone could hurt so many innocent children. Such an atrocity. Those poor babies.

I cannot understand the viciousness in the name of one's religion or politics.
That someone who claims to be human can do such a thing is beyond my comprehension.
My heartfelt condolences to you and your countrymen.

Gee, Don, why are you so critical of islam? Where's your compassion? Why are you so bigoted against a religion? Some xians are wackadoo, too.

This is horrible to hear. The world is such a confusing place. It can go from pure beauty to hell in a matter of seconds. As one person enjoys the best moment in their lives, someone else is getting shot dead.

The West is highly responsible for creating havoc in the World. I am ashamed of my own Governments stance on Iraq and other places. Blair should take blame for lying about Iraq.

Tragedies such as this are horrendous. Are the children in heaven? They are just asleep. Rest assured, they are in line for the resurrection. As to the terrorists? They may feel like they did something, but in fact, they are creating a bad name with God, the very one who has the power to withhold a resurrection or to grant it.

This is such an awful story. All I can do is pray that God will comforts those families and friends. Things like this is happening more and more. I just pray for it to stop.

Our tv channels were full with the news. And you being there it must have tormented you no end. If all countries got together atleast on this front things could be sorted out. This bickering between countries gives terrorists an upper hand.

Such a terrible tragedy. I don't understand people who do things like that.

marialy18 wrote on December 16, 2014, 10:22 PM

Everybody in this world join your country in that tragic event. I pity those children who died, they are in the same age as my students.Keep safe to all of you there

We pray that violence and bloodshed come to a stop in your country. These acts of cowardice should not be taken lightly.

I am a Muslim and you can criticize me all you want. I don't think you lack compassion but (with apology) I have usually found Americans to be very misinformed or rather ignorant about world politics. In spite of all the news channels or maybe because of them, an average American knows more about shenanigans of Justin Beiber or Paris Hilton than ground realities of many war-engulfed countries. Americans think that world history started with 9-11 but there is a very long, ugly history before that too which involves US leaders like Reagan, Kissinger and the Cold War. These fighters were trained and equipped by CIA to fight Russian invasion of Afghanistan. These"mujaheddins " sat in laps of US presidents in White House. Books promoting "Jihad", published in Afghan languages of Dari and Pashtu, were developed in the early 1980s under an AID grant to the University of Nebraska-Omaha and its Center for Afghanistan Studies. Search for afghan Jihad books and see what comes up. This has got nothing to do with Islam and everything to do with geo-politics.

I am deeply grateful to all of you for your kind words and comments. At the moment, it is just too painful to say anything else.

Remember Palestine children also ,they are suffering every day by the oppressors. The sad loss of these school children ,and teachers is unnaceptable.

LoudMan wrote on December 17, 2014, 10:11 AM

You, as a person, haven't done anything to deserve criticism. But I will criticize islam, as well as xianity, as well as judaism. I think you might be surprised just how much of islam we Americans are looking into. Please don't assume that all Americans are dumb. It's as unfair as it is when anyone here makes assumptions about y'all. And, yes, I'm aware it's been America (at the behest of israel) that's been out there shit-stirring and drumming up conflict for so many decades. And, when someone points it out, they're called a "conspiracy theorist" as if it's a bad thing to have a heightened sense of awareness.

It's complicated. And, we have all been played off of each other now, for a long time, by our overlords. It's time to end this. Ultimately, I hope to help my noble Arab friends rediscover Allah't and not allah. I want my xian friends to re-discover the spirituality and not the crass commercialism of christinsanity.

We all want peace but our hateful, murderous overlords will not have it.

LoudMan wrote on December 17, 2014, 10:22 AM

As should Bush, Cheney and every government representative with a dual-citizenship in israel and whichever country they happen to be pretending to be a part of.

Dawnwriter wrote on December 17, 2014, 10:25 AM

I never assumed all Americans are dumb. I apologize if I gave that impression. On Bubblews there was once a very heated debate and when someone pointed out facts about Cold war and Gulf War, the writer, an American and war veteran himself was gracious enough to acknowledge that many Americans remain ignorant because these issues are not discussed on mainstream media other than what media houses want them to hear. As you said, it is complicated and saying it is Islam's fault is unfair and from my point of view, very wrong. Most wars are about economy and who makes the profits from these conflicts.

LoudMan wrote on December 17, 2014, 10:54 AM

I know who makes the profits. But it's considered impolite to say it. :)

So right ! Also they should tell the US citizens just how many Billions they are sending to Israel on some sort of Dome amongst other things, you forgot to mention the woman Rice ! Not a big player but......

maxeen wrote on December 17, 2014, 12:10 PM

Also they are helped by keeping people unaware be being seeped in religion-remember that man called Kar Marx his words were "Religion is the opium of the masses" . One doesn't have to go to bubbles to hear sense from an American. Just watch Max Keiser on RT

LoudMan wrote on December 17, 2014, 4:24 PM

3.15 billion, yearly, expected from the years 2013-2018 on israel's defense alone. Altogether, the numbers would shock most people. http://www.wrmea.org/congress-u.s.-aid-to-israel/u.s.-financial-aid-to-israel-figures-facts-and-impact.html

And, this, with every previous debt to the U.S., forgiven. No wonder they've never defaulted on a loan.

sheilagamo wrote on December 18, 2014, 4:15 AM

I saw this on the news and it sent chills to my spine. How can anyone do such horrific things? May God have mercy on those children and their parents.

PattyTherre wrote on January 1, 2015, 8:55 PM

What a sad situation. I sure hope you return and write more soon. Even in grief, your writing is excellent.

quickchai wrote on January 5, 2015, 5:59 AM

awww... indeed a very very sad day that is...

I cannot imagine how a parent can comprehend losing a child, I know I can't and for them to be lost in such a tragic way... oh my. I am truly heart broken for you.. I pray that somehow you find the strength and courage to move on...

VinceSummers wrote on January 12, 2015, 9:27 AM

Oh. Did I fail to mention that, although indirectly, the devil is to blame for such events? He is the ruler of this world. That's why we need the Kingdom of God to come -- to put a complete end to his world.
