Ready for the holidays
My tree is up and the house is all decorated up for Christmas...
I know some people dread decorating for the holidays..but not me! I enjoy this time of year. I love the lights and decorations...I mostly enjoy all the baking and smells coming from the kitchen.
This year I bought some cinnamon scented pine cones and put them in a bowl on my front room table. Now every time I walk in the door, I smell the apples n Cinnamon...
I have already started my baking this morning. I have the cookies (chocolate chip, peanut butter and sugar) ready to go. I also made several batches of peanut butter fudge. I am thinking of also making chocolate covered pretzels. I intend on handing these treats out to family and friends over the next couple of days.
My daughter and grand baby came up this week for a quick visit and they helped decorate the tree. I have even already started wrapping presents to stick under there. How about you...is your tree up already and is your house decked out for the holiday?

Yippee for you! My son and his family are up this weekend. We want the grandkids to decorate our tree.

LaDonna I like this time of year also. But it seems the older I get the harder it gets. I forgot all about getting scented candles or that scent spray. Pine especially. We will be starting the baking soon. Way too much food gets made around here. But, I love the leftovers.

Although I love Christmas but I am not yet ready for the materials or ingredients to prepare because I am in a tight budget right now. Hoping so that I will receive a little bonus in my work.
