Hooray, it came early!

I talked about having to order a new stove in an earlier post. It wasn’t supposed to be in until the end of this week but I got a call on Friday that it was in. My son went to the store on Saturday evening to pick it up.
I was thrilled because I was already tired of not having an oven and was worried that the rest of it would go up in flames every time I turned on a burner on the old stove. The new one came out of the giant box, and what a beauty she was!
Oh my, look at all those controls and knobs! “Can we cook? Can we bake cookies?” The grandkids were excited too. Hmm, it is a regular oven plus a convection oven and that is going to take some figuring out. I told them I was going to have to read instructions before we could do anything!
It has radiant heat settings and claims to boil water in 6 minutes, depending on which way you turn the knob. I am reading and learning as I go, but so far so good. I feel like a kid at Christmas time and since it is nearly that time of year, I guess the stove arrived at the right time!

My daughter has one that's also a convection oven - it is actually quite easy to operate. Enjoy!

You're going to have fun the first time you cook a big meal on your new stove. Maybe you should start small and work up!
