The best techniques in handling people

The following points should be considered when handling different types of people:-
¨ It is normally easier to find error than to find honor. It is more likely to talk about what you want than to talk about what the other person wants.
¨ When handling people, let us remember that we are not dealing with creatures’ reason, but we are dealing with creatures of feeling, creatures bristling with prejudices and motivated by self-importance and pride.
¨ It takes personality and self-discipline to be considerate and pardoning.
¨ An enormous man shows his enormity by the way he treats small men.
¨ Don’t disparage, express disapproval of or criticize.
¨ Give truthful and honest appreciation.
¨ Stimulate in the other person an enthusiastic want.
¨ Let’s cease thinking of our accomplishments, our wants. Let’s try to figure out the other person’s good points. Then forget sweet talk. Give honest, sincere appreciation. Be hearty in your approval and plentiful in your praise, and people will value your words and treasure them and repeat them over a lifetime – repeat them years after you’ve forgotten them.

Many bosses like to use appreciative words because they are trained to do so, but they lack sincerity.

I like that be hearty in your approval ad abundant in praising. I hoe the people I know would have that kind of character but I guess it is hard to change a person better change ourselves so we can easily influence others.
