Christmas Program at School

My grandkids have a Christmas program at school tonight. The drizzling, freezing rain has started this morning. Let’s hope it doesn’t get so bad that they have to cancel. The program is a lot of work, both for the school and for the parents who have to get their children there on time. The parents have put some expense into this as well.
The school sent home a note and “suggested” it would be nice if the children wore nice clothes, such as dress pants for the boys and dresses for the girls. So, my son took the kids shopping for the appropriate attire. My granddaughter has dresses but Little Man is a T-shirt and jeans kind of kid, so he had no “dressy” stuff.
Daddy got him the cutest (he is in Kindergarten) little outfit, complete with pants, white shirt, vest and a tiny little clip-on tie. Sister got a new dress even though she has several of them. It’s all sparkly and has a couple rows of ruffles around the bottom. I can’t wait to see them all dressed up and sure hope the weather holds so they can wear them to the program tonight!

Let's hope the weather is good enough for all to reach school, and go back home safely.

Enjoy! My grand kids are more fun than my kids! I think it's God's way of thanking me for not killing my kids when they were teens.
