Free Pie Wednesday at O'Charley's

Every Wednesday, O'Charley's offers a free slice of pie to anyone who purchases an entrée.

Choices include Double-crust Peach, French Silk, Country Apple, Southern Pecan, and Ooey Gooey Carmel. Right now they're also serving Pumpkin Pie.

Don't have room for dessert? Take it home like I did. I ordered the French Silk Pie, a $3.99 value. Just to make sure that it traveled well, my server packed the whipped cream topping with milk chocolate shavings in a separate container, and it arrived home safe and sound and extremely yummy.

For more information, visit O'Charley's website at http://www.ocharleys.com/home .

You seem to find a lot of good food deals -- all from restaurants we don't have here. I love chocolate silk pie. But I brought home the rest of the pecan pie I bought at Costco last week. It was a monster for two people to finish -- even when they both love pecan pie.

This looks really yummy but I am on strict diet so I am trying to avoid sweets.

I've never heard of O'Charleys, but am wishing there was one nearby as that slice you have there looks mighty tempting.

You'll have to come free-food dining with me sometime! I'll see what I can round up on my birthday.

I'm not really much of a dessert person, and I certainly wouldn't pay $4 for one slice of pie in a restaurant, but I do like something sweet every once in awhile.

It a pretty ubiquitous chain here.

It sounds delicious. Another place we don't have in the UK. I am making a list in case I ever visit the States again.

Me, too. If I didn't have an invitation to Ruby Tuesday's with friends this Wednesday, I'd go back for more! Still have plenty of gift cards!

Probably so.

OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on December 10, 2014, 1:38 AM

They're even yummier when they're free. I just can't justify paying $4 for a small piece of pie.

If you do, let me know. We'll have lunch and asked for kitty bags to go.

As far as I know, that chain isn't around here. We, however, have many wonderful local restaurants.
