Late Summer, Early Fall

The day started nicely. It was raining, but the rains was warm and the weather was in the lower fifties. However the day ended up like a real Winter which is approaching. We did not have snow in Lansing, but it seems that Michigan got a few inches. And what is worse is the wind because it decided to cruise at high speed. In Southern Michigan there are reports of 65 m/p.

That is why I thought that some pictures with sunshine and a lot of light, color of a late Summer are welcome.

This is a park in Okemos. I like to take strolls through at times with my buddy. In the middle of the Summer is not the place to be. Besides the heat, there are plenty of mosquitos pestering everyone in sight.

The leaves started to turn, but it was early for the total Fall colors. The place turns magic again after a foot of snow. The park has paved alleys, but those are for the less adventurous. OK, don't worry, even if it is the forest and quite a hidden place, I always keep the plastic bag for my buddy's hoped accidents.

Your photos are beautiful, but I can imagine how hot is must be there in summer.

In my country they say that November will be rainy season but it's too hot here in the Philippines :)
