Christmas - My Best and Worse Holiday
They say Christmas is the best holiday . Time for family reunions and gatherings , parties and gift giving . Yes all of these are important. Those were things I would look forward to every year.
But as the years go by I sometimes dread the Christmas season. I still put up decorations and I still celebrate. But not as I used to.
Financial crisis prevents me from celebrating like before. I never did anything lavish but i would make a simple media buena and invite my cousin who is alone. This year it might be my turn to be alone when my daughter leaves.
I also worry if I can have money to buy gifts for my helpers and their children and family that stays with me. I never buy anything for myself but for the people around me. But with increase of prices in everything it is hard.
So Christmas is the best with family and the love around but also the worse if you are alone and have financial problems. I know it is the birth of our Lord that is important but you can't help the other problems.
I'm not sure how this Christmas will be for me, I try to put up an appearance of the holiday cheer and decorations but deep inside I still have worries.
I pray I will get through it.

I hope you can get through it. I lost my son in 2005 and haven't put a tree up since.

Thanks. Maybe someday. In 2008 my niece brought me a tree and set it up but I just let it stay there and did not decorate it. I looked at it everyday, and sometimes talked to it lol but did not decorate it.
