Brand New Shipment of Maple Leaves Just In, by Guiness the Cat

Hello, it is me, Guiness the Cat, with the news you procrastinating leaf buyers have been waiting for! One of my two top suppliers of maple leaves has just dropped a new shipment on me. New shipments of oak leaves are flittering in daily, as well.

In case you missed the first announcement , I am now in the leaf-selling business as a way to replenish my poor bank account. Debbi has the very bad habit of repeatedly throwing my hard-earned cash away at the dentist office.

Don't miss out on this limited offer. As you can tell from the photo above, there are only a few maple leaves left, and they are going fast. Compare with the second photo taken just three days earlier.

But don't despair. If you miss out on Maple Madness, I should be continually receiving shipments of oak leaves right up until spring.

Hurry and get your order in. Leaves are only ten cents a dozen. Plus shipping and handling, of course. If you prefer, you can save the shipping fee by picking your own, cash and carry. Quantity discounts available. Act now!

Sincerely, Guiness the Cat

What a lovely idea. I have to decline the offer as I am inundated with Maple leaves... :)

This is Guiness the Cat. I have tons of oak.

Sorry Guiness. I have enough leaves of my own, and mine are even bigger than yours. Good luck.

That's a really nice picture you've taken Guiness...I notice how Debbie had tried to pass it off as her own...

This is Guiness the Cat. You can never have too many leaves, Barb. Don't tell anyone, but I'll give you a discount.

This is Guiness the Cat. I do take a good photo, don't I? From both sides of the camera.

That second photo is absolutely beautiful!!

I tell you, if I wasn't smack-dab in the middle of moving out this latest shipment of snow, I'd but 'em all.

It's always the shipping fee that goes over my budget.

This is Guiness the Cat. Well, at least it WAS. The tree is rather forlorn today after all the wind and the rain, and all the leaves are soggy.

OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on November 17, 2014, 5:56 PM

This is Guiness the Cat. This is Guiness the Cat. You should buy them all and put them on top of the snow to cheer you up. If Debbi had any money, she'd buy some snow from you. She's weird. Don't try to sell any to me. I don't like the stuff.

This is Guiness the Cat. Just come get 'em yourself, and save the shipping costs.

Well, the tree may no longer be beautiful, but the photo still is. Keep looking at it! emoticon :winking:

Guiness, the maple tree looks like it was lovely when at the height of its fall foliage glory. This region is rich in maple trees; the Fuzzy Trio did not consider launching a leaf selling business, however. They are thinking, though, that next autumn I should be taking photos and making some money off that... more catnip cash.

This is Guiness the Cat. Maybe I should make pictures, too. I never sold a single leaf. I don't understand.

Guiness, maybe you could do a cat-and-leaf themed line of products such as calendars and mouse pads?
