Windows 10 Is Coming

What will come after Microsoft Windows 8? The answer is simple – Windows 10 .

Yes, there will be no Windows 9 version of the most used operating system in the world. Why? One excuse is that this version will be a big step forward and it deserves a round number.

But – don’t they always say that the new Windows is a big step forward?

In my opinion the 10 will be a step back. They will reintroduce the best features of Windows 7 and merge them with Windows 8 features like support for touch screen or mobile and hand held devices.

Windows 10 was introduced to the public on October 1st. First open beta version will be available in the beginning of the year 2015. The selling will start in October 2015 – probably.

You will be able to upgrade from versions 7 and 8 but the pricing and licensing model is not fixed yet.

So don’t hold your breath for the new Windows yet. You might run out of it…

I like Windows 2003 the best. The worst thing about Microsoft is the 'new' versions they keep introducing -- which are usually never better than the previous version and the fact they do not support their older versions.

I am a fan of Windows XP :) Although Windows 7 is a decent system.

Yes, they fell they 'must' introduce new versions . At least their PR department is feeling that way.

I'd still be using Windows XP if it was up to me, or at least Vista. I have Windows 8 on my laptop, and its the main reason I mostly use my desktop.

What's next? Windows 11,514? 12, 928? Half Million?

I am never in a hurry to change to a new Windows system. I like other folks to try it out and get the bugs worked out.

I hope it's an improvement because Windows 8 is very annoying.

sheesh I stillhave windows 7 don't even know the difference in windows 8 so what am I going to do with windows 10??? lol

I'm sure Windows 10 will be better than 8, BECAUSE IT WOULD HAVE TO BE!!!!!! It was a colossally stupid mistake to make a computer that pretends to be a phone. Apparently someone at Microsoft forgot that computers are BETTER than phones!

I like XP a whole lot, but I do prefer the upgraded Paint program, and the snipping tool is the bomb!

Anything has got to be better than Windows 8.

I am perfectly content with Windows 7 and wish they would leave well enough alone.

I love both window xp and 7 and am not planning to upgrade to window 10 or 12 even if they claim the version will be a big step forward

Lemark wrote on December 20, 2014, 5:43 PM

I agree with you. They always claim this.
