higher rates draw writers not competitions that will come and go

To me this is a breaking news. The success story of every writing site is based on the number of old writer it can retain as well as the new writers that register to write on the site on a daily basis.

For these two groups to repeatedly increase simply depends on how much they would earn from their efforts and not how many posts they would write. Therefore , it surfaces to to say that, competitions to awards points or coins to me are irrelevant.

Rather the rate paid is what would draw people here. This implies that, something has to be done about the rate paid here. The rate currently being paid is a continuous demotivating factor for a lot of people out there.

I believe that persona paper has an elastic demand curve and so an increase in the rate would bring in a more than proportionate increase in the number of writer which would translate into earnings.

But to try to coax writers in here via competition for coins would not solve the problem. How many referrals can one do? Even if we all can bring in 5 a week that will be less compared to what an increase in rates can do to the numbers here and the new ones to come in.

This is something persona paper has to think about.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and certainly the creators of Persona Paper have their work cut out for them. Before anyone feels the need to judge let me just say that I am aware that there are some who rely on sites such as this for income. That said, however, if you're looking for Persona Paper, or any other such site, to pay your bills, you're barking up the wrong tree. Yes, with enough posts, comments, etc., you can make some spare cash, and obviously the more time you spend here the more you can make, but come on. Again, I'm sure these folks appreciate all comments and suggestions, and maybe some day the payout will increase, but this is not a get-rich-quick thing, if that's what one is looking for. As I've stated before, I'm here for some new and different writing experiences, and if, by chance, I end up with a little change, great. Lastly, a reminder- everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Good day to you.

This is an interesting observation and analysis. Your conclusions are most probably correct.

This is a new site, and I think if anyone wants to watch this site grow, they'll be patient with the supply and demand. Those that are unhappy are free to go elsewhere.

High rates are also why bubblews is in the mess its in, with all those plagiarists and spammers who make the site experience an awful one and eventually lead to exactly what has happened there - the pay rate has not only dropped to nearly nothing, but they wont tell you what you are being paid for and how many views etc you get. This site is growing, its doing it in exactly the right way - slowly. there is little danger that the site is going to struggle to cope as it grows because the growth is gradual. Pay rates will increase in time, when the site is able to cope with that increase.

If you take the amount of coins I have here, and compare them to the amount of money I have in bubblews (before they changed the payrate) I actually earn more here, so if/when the payrates are similar this site will actually pay me more, but whats important is that more people are reading my post here, more people are commenting and I am getting to read all about the lives of some interesting people halfway around the world.

These who never seem to try, who then whine about not earning anything, I sometimes wish they would go elsewhere. I hear the ooze is "expanding" again and wants some fresh, new contributors.

I am just curious as to why you write here if you are obviously not happy with the way things are going for you? The past two posts you have written are judgmental ones about this site and those who write here. I don't foresee myself reading too many of your posts if your going to judge that which you know nothing about. Take Care!

Sorry if my posts did not appeal to you. Once a while we all have some controversial issues that we have to write about. I think stereotyping based on these two posts may not be a good conclusion on me. But I also believe there is some level of truth is the issues I have put across just that the way I put them may not really be your style

Thanks but you know others do not really agree with me. I think we have to read some of these posts true the mirror of truth rather than personal passion

I think it's good that we here from disgruntled people as it opens the subject up to be discussed. Then we can think things out in an open way, It actually seems speedier here, than from there, don't know why !

You are basically asking for something the owners/creator of this site cannot give at the moment. We all want exchange rate to improve but at the same time, no false promises are being made. Every day when you log in, you know how things stand so continuing to write here is your own decision.
