If I took a self-portrait of myself. It often happened on my mobile phone. I don't do it too often since I am not fun of taking near photos.
The selfies are the worst, someone said. It is the most annoying habit by users, another one said. It overwhelms the social media of self-centered people. Is that true?
Why do really people takes the selfies? Is this the outcome of the new technology , like mobile phones? Actually technology change so fast that the new generations grow up with the selfies surroundings, they seem selfies are just normal. Should we worry?

I don't do selfies. But my niece and I am an enthusiastic participant in it for the fun of it -- so for me it is reason 4

I agree with you too, but it seems that the selfies develop an unbearable self-consciousness. Maybe I'm just too pessimist for the younger ones;)
