Us at Mill Creek Falls

We went to Mill Creek Falls in Crandall, Ga today. We had been once before, a couple years ago, but didn't make it to the big falls at the end of the trail that time. We were determined we'd make it this time. It was rough going, but we made it.

I twisted my ankle, tripped myself up with my own hiking pole, slipped numerous times, and slid down part of the last bit to reach the falls on my bottom, but I got there! I scared my poor husband to death more than once because I'm so clumsy. It doesn't bother me. I just keep on going, but he's scared I'm gonna fall off a cliff or something.

Mill Creek is a pretty place. The big falls was nice. I'm posting the big version of this one cause I doubt anyone would want to steal a photo with us in it. :)

We might go back to camp there soon. It seems like a nice camp ground right at the beginning of the trail. Not sure when it will happen, but it's on the agenda.

Hope y'all had a good day today.

Mill Creek Falls looks like a very gentle waterfalls. the place looks very cool and very nice for a family picnic!

You couldn't picnic at that part. The trail to it is too steep. They have a rope to hold onto to get down the trail. It was slow going for me and wore me out. There is a nice place to camp and picnic at the beginning though.

What a fantastic picture! My bestie and I enjoyed a trip to Natural Bridge, Virginia, where they have a long trail culminating in a lovely falls, too. I think I scared him as well when I walked along the edge of a bridge about 20 feet above the rushing water and rocks to avoid walking through some mud on the trail.

I would love to see that one day. I've heard about it. Of course, I'd love to go all kinds of places to take photos.

So did you go swimming? It looks a bit cold for that...nice pic though...

LOL, it would definitely be too cold for that although people do swim there in the summer.

I need to go there sometime. I love waterfalls. I pinned it so I'd remember it.

It is not easy to get to this falls. We had to climb down a steep section using a rope.

I definitely would need a good hiking partner.
