Should I continue wasting my time on TSu?

For those who might not know, tsū is a type social network platform that promises to share up to 90% of revenues with its users. New members can join only by invitation. I was not too sure about it but still signed up and now I am even more unsure.

My analytics on Bank page show that I have

  • 48 FRIENDS

  • 739 VIEWS ON POSTS

  • 37 LIKES ON POSTS

I have no "children" or "network" there nor I have any idea how to acquire them.

I have mainly posted my PP posts there in addition to a few memes and shared some other people's posts too. But my refuses to budge from zero. I am not sure what I am doing wrong there but I am not ready to waste any more time on non-productive activities.

I have seen many PP members there. Can anyone tell me if tsu is worth the time and effort and why in spite of 700+views I have not even earned a cent there? It's very frustrating.

Thanks

oh i'm too on tsu too, joined just 4 days back and have almost $1 emoticon  with 307 friends almost 700 followers, guess it takes some time to show results... emoticon
All the best!

It is based on views, likes, comments, and shares (as your followers/friends share your content - you will earn).
Also, children are those who join under your short code, in other words through your referral link. It is up to you to invite friends to join. I have 5 children so far. You will also earn from what your children earn and what their children earn.

I'm@DonPennington over there. :) The earnings do appear low at first. I'm only now up to 67 cents. The trick seems to be in sharing all you can and getting shared on your o.p.s there. Give that a try before you quit. I made 3 cents on my first day with only two friends and a handful of followers. My stuff is GREAT to share. You earn, even if you're the second or third generation of a viral meme.

I feel like an idiot but what is o.p.s? And thanks for the encouragement. I will give it some more time but somehow I am not too hopeful.

I'm new to all of this and i feel exactly like you, i too joined and haven't seen much. I still need to learn my way around there as well.

I joined but am yet to get any move, how does one earn?

LoudMan invited me to Tsu, I don't know if I like it yet either. I have also earned nothing despite views/likes etc showing on my page, but to be fair I haven't posted much there because I have very few friends there at the moment so there really isn't any point in posting lots of stuff for no one to read.

I joined a few days ago and haven't a clue what to do and where ,I feel like I'm in the nursery..

Crin wrote on November 7, 2014, 9:51 PM

I joined because this is fashionable. I don't think I was on after joining though.

MarshaMusselman wrote on November 8, 2014, 10:53 AM

Like anything else it takes time to get established. I don't think we actually earn anything from the views and likes, although I could be wrong. Sharing and children provide the most income there, but we didn't give up on bubblews or pp after the first week. I'm sticking around. It's only in it's infant stages as it had it's month anniversary yesterday. I'd say spend a bit of time there moseying around the site and getting to know folks. You can stick with folks from pp or bubblews or both,, but try to stay away from those that ask for follows or shares as that's against their tou.

Lots of spamming going on there, I delete all spammy comments. THose folks will be deleted one day and I don't want to join them by association.

After almost a week, I'm up to eight cents, but I've not come close to my posting limits and I'm not on there all day long as I still work two jobs.

Dawn and anyone else that reads this. I just discovered that some big names have joined tsu, I think you'd be foolish to quit before you've gotten started. Continue to post great content, and your freinds, followers and children will come.

MarshaMusselman wrote on November 9, 2014, 10:32 AM

Well, maybe not as big as I thought. Seems some folks from other countries are using names we're familiar with that are not their own. But, I'm still going to wait it out longer to see how it progresses and changes over time.

I saw Michael Jordan on Tsu. I am sure it's not him actually. Many people will take identity of movie or sports stars and try to fool people into following them but I hate such tactics and those who indulge in them.

MarshaMusselman wrote on November 9, 2014, 11:47 AM

I don't like that either. I didn't know about him since he is still alive, but the other person I saw has been dead awhile, but I forgot and almost was duped. Actually, I was duped until my daughter informed me of the reality.

Even then, there are some folks on there, that you can tell by what they provide for helps that they are legit even though we haven't a clue who they are for they aren't famous.

I must be the only person who has not joined TSU yet. I haven't quite decided if I am yet or not.

iwrite28 wrote on November 10, 2014, 3:39 AM

I have been there for almost three weeks now and am singularly disappointed. If you aren't excellent at networking (I am not) you might as well stop wasting time there.

Dawnwriter wrote on November 10, 2014, 11:03 PM

Give it a try. It's free and at the very least, you can get some exposure for your articles.

BigDreamer wrote on November 12, 2014, 5:21 PM

I just joined yesterday so I am still learning.
I am not too sure that I will have too much time to devote there though.

Ruby3881 wrote on November 12, 2014, 10:01 PM

I see that now you have 123 friends and 91 followers. Are you getting any revenues yet?

One thing I can suggest is that you need to be more engaging there. Instead of just posting a link with a bunch of tags on it, try writing a short comment that will draw your reader to click on that link - or at least stop long enough to like, comment or share. You are sharing a good number of other people's posts and your content is original, which is excellent! But try to provide a good mix of self-promotion, promoting other writers and artists, and just plain interesting/fun stuff - news stories that made you stop to think, music videos or art you liked, personal anecdotes, etc.

Also, you need to post a profile pic! Even before people go to your profile they will be turned off by seeing that blank space in the popup. I can totally understand not being sure about putting a photo of yourself. But you can choose a cartoon avatar, a cute animal, or just about anything that you feel represents you. It gives people something to relate to emoticon
You did a great job of stirring things up here on PP. I know you can succeed on Tsu too!

Ruby3881 wrote on November 12, 2014, 10:04 PM

Your earnings are based on two things:

1) ad revenue generated from people who view, like, comment on, and share your posts.
2) your share of the revenue your "children" earn.

In order to earn you need to generate engaging content that gets people wanting to talk and to share. It also helps to get people to sign up using your short code. If they do, they add to your network. That adds to your revenue.

Dawnwriter wrote on November 13, 2014, 11:50 AM

#Ruby3881 Thank you so much for such a detailed response. Everything you have said makes sense and I know I am not engaging there much and only posting links, and liking. I have now 143 FRIENDS, 97 FOLLOWERS, 3077 VIEWS,148 LIKES, 63 comments on my posts with 2 cents in earning.

I am going to persevere for some time and see how things go from here. Thanks once again:-)

hi! I'm also on tsu.. i use the same username
I think you need to share and like and comment on others post there (so they'll share yours too) to get your bank moving up. also I'm not sure but if you share the posts and it's get reshared and reshared, you will get an amount too. I'm not sure how their algorithm works but so far I have a whopping $0.01 there.. hahaha! hoping for it to move up soon.

to get children you'll need to refer new members (they will be your "children") and the referral link is the tsu url and add /your username

@ashuli.. wow.. $1 already? how did you do it??? LOL

iwrite28 wrote on November 14, 2014, 6:47 AM

I am iwrite28 on TSU. My earnings are s--l--o--w...but I am there :)

bestwriter wrote on November 15, 2014, 9:59 PM

Dawnwriter - You as a member will since anywhere just as you are shining here. What if you have not opened your bank account there. You have over 50 views here. Tsu has helped you earn coins here :)

Dawnwriter wrote on November 16, 2014, 7:39 AM

Aww!! Thank you for such a nice compliment. ...and you are right. More than 100 coins earned on PP by telling people I am not earning anything at Tsu. :) :)

scheng1 wrote on December 4, 2014, 7:55 AM

If you give equal effort to Tsu as here, you can compare better.

Dawnwriter wrote on December 4, 2014, 7:59 AM

I doubt it. I have made 8 cents there with more than 8000 views. I am not very good at working on multiple sites at the same time. First there was only Helium, then only Bubblews but now I am trying different websites with dismal earnings overall
