67 Days Running Streak

The definition of a running streak is to run at least one mile (1.61 kilometers) within each calendar day. There are several organisations which are keeping records of these streaks. One of them is Streak Runners International, Inc.

Since I started my running streak on September the 1st it is still fairly easy to calculate the number of days of my running continuously every day. Today's evening run in rain was a number 67 . 30 days in September, 31 days in October and these 6 days in November added together to 67.

In terms of placing myself on any list I haven't even started. Only runners with streaks longer than a year are published there.

What keeps me going? Several things. First is my love for running. Then comes sense of . It is also a test of your mental strength. Or stubbornness some might say.

I don't plan to stop running every day and I don't have any specific goal. I didn't promise myself a special price if I reach some . I'll just keep on .

This is an excellent hobby. I love walking and I wish I could walk for miles daily but it is not always possible. Good luck and I hope your name gets entered in hall of fame too.

Congratulations on your daily walking routine. It is important that you are moving and thus doing something healthy for your body and mind.

Wow! god for you! That's excellent! More people (including me!) should follow your example, most of us don't get enough exercise

Thanks emoticon
Yes, we all sit too much and don't do things physically any longer. Add to it bad eating habits and you are heading for a disaster...

The only running I do is running for a bus and since I have a car that doesn't happen very often! :)

Then take a bus more often emoticon
No, I am joking. I don't pressure any of you into anything. Just telling you about the thing I love to do...

I admire your determination. I hate to run. Always have. Good thing, too, since it probably would have jostled my delicate neck. I prefer walking. It doesn't make my side hurt.

That is admirable. I should see if I could start a walking streak or at least a get off the couch and go for a stroll streak. :D

Congratulations for the streak and for your tenacity. You must be a person who exercises regularly because for others keeping it up so long would be very difficult.
