Welcome To My Freelancing/Debt Tackling Blog

Welcome to the first of what I hope will be many blogs that I post here on the topic of freelance writing. I have always wanted to find a blogging area that I could devote completely to freelance writing, and I figured this is as good of a place as any to do just that. What a better way to start than to talk about beginning to work on a freelance writing site that you have just discovered.

The First Step: A Leap Of Faith

Anytime you begin to work on a writing site with which you have never dealt before, there is always some risk that the website is not going to work out in the way that you would have hoped. In this particular case, I heard about this website from another freelancer that I trust a great deal, and therefore I am not too worried about the legitimacy of the website. Of course, as with any site, before I began to write here I checked into what some others had to say about it. It would have been foolish to not have done this.

Putting In Your First Work

The very first piece that you put on a new website is always a little breathtaking as well. I consider this to be the first piece that I have written for this site even though I have actually written the introduction piece to gain admittance here in the first place. This piece is the far more important one to me at the moment to see what others will think about what I have to say here.

You Are All In For A Treat

Those who do make the effort to check out what I have to say here are in for a treat. I am going to offer the best insight that I possibly can on a variety of topics impacting the freelance world. With my nearly five years of experience at this point, I feel that I am in a unique position to offer some of the advice that I do, and I hope that those who are just getting started with freelancing, or even some of the seasoned vetreans learn from my jounrey. Expect this to be a blog that is a combination of information about freelance writing and tackling the massive amount of debt that I currently have. I hope that it will inspire others to reach their own goals in freelance writing as well.

Can't wait to see how you handle debt. I could do with a few sage words of advice in that area myself!

Yes you are right but hope is always there, only patience needed.

Hopefully everything works out for you! Sounds like a decent plan and looks like you have thought it out down to the detail! Good for you!

Welcome, and I look forward to what words of wisdom you may have to share. A future post of mine will be on how we managed our debt, and in the meantime I'll try to keep up with what you offer.
