Mcdonalds Closes All Stores in Bolivia

It was a striking news to me that all Mcdonalds fast food chains in Bolivia are officially closing this year. After 14 years of its operations in the country, the stores have called it quits because the sales are not enough to keep them running. I am sure there would be a lot of unemployed service crew and fry cooks there after this. But it is true.

People in Bolivia are not that fond of fast food and still prefer home cooked meals that are known to be more delicious to their taste and of course more nutritious. Of course they also value the personal touch of home cooked meals.

Anyway, i think Mcdonalds will also be pulling the plug on operations of their stores in other countries where sales have not been doing so well either. I hope this is a sign that people are beginning to realize that they should eat healthier and make better choices to live longer.
