Halloween

The last day of the month of October was the first day of the Fall. It was windy, cold and we had rain and some show. Well, maybe not snow, just a few flakes.

chf

Monday night downtown there was trick or treating offer by the city of Lansing to whomever wanted to show up.

chf

It was relatively warm and it was jam packed. A lot of people came with their kids to have the Halloween fun. I was walking with my buddy and we ran into the event downtown.

CHF

Here are some of the costumes kids showed that evening.

chf

Not that I am complaining, but it seems that everyone loved cats that evening.

chf

These two were in a playing mood.

CHF

They were running for the ride

chf

Who said tractors are not coming downtown? This one came from the fields to offer fum to the kids.

Nice pics! It looks like both kids and adults had fun! I agree with your observation about people dressing up as cats this year. I saw a lot of young women dressed as pretty, young cats! Meow!

Looks like a good time. We had cold rainy weather, but we had a great time!

Love your pictures Crin, people are creative when they come to costumes, when i was growing up i used to improvise and it wasn't always nice, i still got candy though. I like the way you sign your pictures... can you share how it's done?

Pretty neat of the farmer(s) to bring tractors into the city for the enjoyment of all.

I see a whole lot of little Spider-Mans, too, besides the cats. Or is it Spider-Men?

Looks like the event was crowded. As for the costumes, better cats than demons.

It was a good crowd and they all had fun.

There were about three all together...

Yes, and the rides where for free courtesy of the farm that owned the tractor. It was busy, people waiting in line! Lucky it was warm outside.

Thank you. I scanned my signature from a piece of paper, and processed it in GIMP to eliminate the background. I have a black and a white version that I superimpose on the picture, scale it down, and there it is.

Great photos. Halloween was really cold here and even though we had the store open and offered hot dogs, hot chocolate and treats, there weren't many out and about. Such is life in the country though!
