It's National Cat Day! by Guiness the Cat

Hello, it is Guiness the Cat, and Happy National Cat Day to all my kitty friends all over the world.

Today is a day we celebrate what marvelous creatures we cats are, and we invite you humans to join in the celebration. If you have a cat, give it a hug, a kiss, and a special supper. If you don't have a , what are you waiting for? Go adopt one! Your life will be so much better because of it!

As president of the Professional Cat Bloggers Association, I would, of course, be remiss if I didn't point out that cats are excellent writers. We enlighten. We educate. We entertain. We amuse. And we talk about you in our posts. A lot, in fact. So go catch up on what your favorite feline author has to say.

Meow!

Sincerely, Guiness the Cat

Happy National Cat Day, Guiness. This is also a great day for you to give Debbi some extra affection since she shares her home with you. It IS really National Cat Day, isn't it, or are you pulling my paw?

Happy national cat day Guiness! I honestly didn't know there was such a thing, maybe we don't have it here in the UK, you should sort that out its not fair on UK cats.

Hello there, Guiness. Happy National Cat Day to you, too. I have a wonderful old fart of a cat at home, too, and he is the best friend anyone could ever ask for. He also writes his own blog, but I'm not sure I'm allowed to mention it here, so for now it'll stay private. I look forward to following you, and I wish you well. Nice to meet you!!

Enjoy your celebration. I wish I'd been aware of this when Sarah and Garfield came to visit today.

This is Guiness the Cat. Nope. October 29 is National Cat Day for real. But I have moved on since it's now October 30 and National Black Cat Day in the UK and I, as an American cat, am celebrating up a storm in a spirit of international cooperation and friendship.

This is Guiness the Cat. Today (Oct. 30) is your day--it's National Black Cat Day in the UK. I've been celebrating all day.

Guiness, according to the Fuzzy Trio, every day is Cat Day.

This is Guiness the Cat. Of course it is, but we've found humans will spend more on us if we restrict it to a few "official" days a year. I don't know why.

LilyDay wrote on February 4, 2015, 11:43 PM

Guiness, that is a valid point. However, while we humans should spend all of our money on kitties, we unfortunately have to devote some of it to other things such as electric, food and fuel. Much of that is related to the continued comfort and care of kitties, though.
