Last minute Notice

Last Minute Notice
I don't like people will give a call in last minute. Will put you in a situation where you have no other options.

I was really disappointed because my Uncle and his family left to Macau. They ask me to look for my grandma today. Because no one was left in their house on Saturday. It would not be hard if I have no children. It is hard to bring my children and to think how to take care my children and my grandma at the same time. I called other relatives but they are not available.

Now, we don't have other options but I have to be the one to look after my grandma together with my two children. My husband decided to go with me. Instead he attends to his meetings. So he cancel all his meetings so he could help me.
We have to wait until 8 pm until the two relatives of my aunt will come back from their work and school.

for me a last minute notice is okay if its a life or death situation. i wouldn't hesitate to drop everything or anything 'm doing at that moment and make myself available to help but if its not i would consider it as an insult!

That's very inconsiderate of them, after all, you could have been away and then your grandmother would have been left alone. They should have made arrangements in advance. That was good of your husband to help.

really if it's a life or death situation. that could be really considered.

That what exactly I think of. They suppose to anticipate many things too.

I agree with you that last minute things don't work for me; it seems like people don't consider each other anymore in this day and age

Some people have no consideration for anyone else. They should have made arrangements much sooner.

oh am sorry for you, I really get confused when am told things at the last minute, I like prior planning so that I come up with a good and reliable result, but at times we have to go by the last minute stuff, though its not easy

that's true and I hope they care more for my grandma condition also.

angelseguera wrote on October 26, 2014, 3:37 AM

Precisely that what should they do. They must have anticipation.
