Know Your Worth
Self evaluation every now and again is vital to our psychological well being. It ensures that a person can improve in whatever areas of their lives that need improvement. It can be in the social aspect of their lives or even maybe the financial aspect all in all once they know the areas and categories that need improvement they can work to improve those areas.
It will also help boost their confidence and ensure that they can never be oppressed or used. This is good news as it helps a person know they are valuable, it gives them a chance to understand their true worth.
It is important for a person to know their worth. It will give you the much needed courage to face whatever hurdles life throws their way.
Know your own worth so that you can speak up for what you are worth.

related to your post, it came across my mind the words told by my teacher during our HR lesson. He encouraged us to go for job interview at least yearly although we are happy at our current job. The idea is just to evaluate ourselves and know our value.

I do this up to now. I guess it is a habit. Knowing how much I'm worth in actually monetary figures in the field I'm working in gives me a better perspective of what I need to do to get to where I want to be in the future.
