Introduction for AmandaDollak
My name is Amanda R. Dollak. I am a mother of two young children with a BS in criminal justice. I am a freelance writer, poet, blogger, and aspiring novelist. I have been writing most of my life; however, I didn't start writing professionally until August of 2008. I have three blogs and have contributed to a number of sites in the past, including Yahoo! Contributor Network (closed in July 2014) and Helium. I am currently focusing on private client freelancing, as well as working on a novel, a collection of short stories, and an anthology of poems that explore faith and hope. My hobbies include photography, reading, sketching, cooking, hiking, and mountain biking. My favorite food is tacos (Mexican food in general, really), and my favorite drink is iced tea.

Welcome to the community at Persona Paper. I see you have plenty of irons in the fire -- whew! Still, I hope you'll find time to post and interact here; I've found it to be a great community.
If you have not yet, I suggest you connect to Persona Paper's moderators, MaeLou and elitecodex . I've found them to be responsive when there are questions or concerns from members, and they do a good job of keeping everyone up-to-date on site happenings.

Nice to meet you here. I came here after reading your most recent post on looking after your creative self. I can well understand how your creativity seems to have vanished if you're the mother of two young children!
