The big 'OOPS' moment

Yesterday I wrote an article,”A Challenge to Myself: Can I do it?” In which I tried to challenge myself to earn 5000 coins by end November through some extremely complex mathematical equations (hehe).

Today, I have come to know that all my presumptions in the post were wrong and would like to thank for pointing me in the right direction. I had thought that byposting articles, we earned coins in addition to unique views but I was mistaken. We get 2 coins for each unique view and 1 coin for comments that we post on other people’s posts which are at least 30 characters long. (If I am still mistaken, please correct me)

In my defense I can only say that I had read

How It Works

But this information is not listed there. It can be found at this post by

So now I am going to write another post with a new challenge and see how long will it take me to earn 5000 coins. I love challenges!

Hi there ! It's nice to create challenges for self as i believe by this we come to know our exact capability and at the same time we learn many new things too!

thanks for your information. i didn't know that the unique view and our comments are worth of 2 coins each. to hit 5,000 coins end of november is possible friend. keep your spirit up!

#idyll, I re-checked the post mentioned and it says unique view on our post=2 coins, our comment on other people's post (30 character long)=1 coin for us and not writer of the post. I am sorry for any confusion that I might have created.

Oops indeed! BTW I checked out your Persona Paper Pinterest Board - that's how I found this post :)

I made a challenge for myself of commenting on the articles of every single member here (there are over 600!) I bet you get done with your challenge before I get done with mine, lol

Dawnwriter thank you again for your corrected information. I like the idea of giving coins on our comments left on other posts which is truly helpful for interaction.

I like this idea too. This means that we have control over what we earn as we cannot actually force anyone to comment on our posts. This way we know the more comments we leave on other people's posts, the more we earn and it is great for interaction.

I have read about that challenge but I really didn't know about how much we earn and how we earn here actually. Whenever I join sites like this, I never checked out on how much money and how I earn on the site. I just enjoy participating and when I see my bank grow, then I'm just happy. The idea of earning online in this kind of site excites me but I never really thought I would gain much money.

Where did you find the FAQ on here? I have not been able to find them. I will look again, but if you can share it would be nice.

You have to decrease resolution of your computer screen by using Ctrl - (minus). Then you can see it at the top header : Home Browse How It Works Rules FAQ Contact. Hope this helps.

Hi! I finally made it here, and I'm still trying to figure out how things work. Do you have to reach a certain number of coins before you can "cash" out? I see that they have a writing topic here, which is a good thing. I'm off to read a few posts in a few catagories.

Sure sign that I'm getting old. Say the word "challenge" and I start yawning. :) Anyway, it is good to set goals.
