Why you have to be so rude?

Why you have to be so rude?

I notice someone here who likes to criticize and always look for other mistakes. I don’t know why he is doing this. He thinks he is so good or perfect about himself.

Well, I have to get rid of my mind. I don’t want to store more negative vibes.

I have my mistakes and I can be better. I am new here and I am still learning the ways here. I read the rules but sometimes I tend to neglect some of it and make a mistake.

But I promise to be more careful or the rude guy might comment again.

Hahaha!!! I know criticism is everywhere. It has good and bad effect too. At least you are warn about your mistake. You cannot expect everyone to like you.

I suggest to all newbie here. You must check the welcome, FAQ, Rules. Be more familiar in everything. Be anxious too!!!

You are right. Admin will not tolerate rudeness here. If anyone breaks a rule Admin will take care of it.

bestwriter wrote on October 18, 2014, 4:23 AM

And incidentally you need to give credit to the individual whose image that you have uploaded here If it is copyrighted you have to take permission. If this rule is not followed then it will come under plagiarism. Please rectify it before Admin gets to you.

MegL wrote on October 18, 2014, 6:08 AM

It is a good idea to check all the rules. There has been an influx here of people from other sites where the rules are lot laxer, however, the people here are very friendly and maybe that person was just trying to help you, because if there is a problem with a post (such as not giving credit for a graphic) then you may not get payout when you think, until you have rectified any problem. It's a LOT easier to change a problem soon after it has been noticed than days, weeks or months down the line.

Scorpie wrote on October 18, 2014, 6:08 AM

Since the only thing you get paid for here is comments you might want to rethink your position. Nothing earns more than a nice comment battle.

LoudMan wrote on October 18, 2014, 6:20 AM

Oh, you're gonna be fine. I was just trying to help you prevent a problem. But, take it however you like, I guess. :) We'll still end up buddies.

LoudMan wrote on October 18, 2014, 6:22 AM

And your image is funny. Maybe you can use it as my secret username here. Okay, enough of me talking about me. Why don't you talk about me? :P

LoudMan wrote on October 18, 2014, 6:23 AM

He's right you know. IT'S SOOOOO ON, Scorpie .

LoudMan wrote on October 18, 2014, 6:25 AM

There might be an image issue. Do you have the rights to use this image? Just because it's online, doesn't make it public domain. This could stall payment.

Scorpie wrote on October 18, 2014, 6:29 AM

You're mr rude? Heck, I thought it was me. I told my wife I was not nearly rude enough.

MegL wrote on October 18, 2014, 6:30 AM

I have had a look at your posts and two posts MAY have graphics that are someone else's copyright. Even giving credit to the person for the picture does not count. Your photograph (with you and your children and the two hello kitty cats) is fine because the photo belongs to you (I assume), so it's fine to use that. It is YOUR copyright. If someone else found that photo and used it on THEIR post, that would not be allowed, even if they gave you credit for the photo. When it comes to payout time, all the posts will be checked and any graphics that are copyright or any graphics that have not been properly credited will not count and you might have to wait or might have to change those posts. Crediting a picture - it is NOT sufficient to say "google.com", even if you found a picture by using google, that does not give you the right to use it. There are a number of free photo sites where you can find pictures that you can use freely. Personapaper requires you to give credit for them and it is easy - you just click in the address bar (URL bar) and copy the address. Here is a picture from Pixabay, with the full address. You have to provide the full address, so the admins can just click and check that the photo is actual and on that site.http://pixabay.com/en/penguins-art-amorous-love-tux-157418/ While I like Pixababy, some others on here use different sites for free photos that can be used. Maybe some others will post the names of thie favourite sites.

MegL wrote on October 18, 2014, 6:33 AM

And you will find that some people are factual, like me (so boooooring!) and others will give you the same information in a funny way! Loudman , scorpie , you listenin'?

Ldyjarhead wrote on October 18, 2014, 7:24 AM

Not true! When someone makes a comment that's at least 30 characters long, THAT person gets the credit, not the person who wrote the article. When you post an article, you get credit for the page view, not comments.

Ldyjarhead wrote on October 18, 2014, 7:25 AM

And you get credit for each individual page view, not for when the same person comes back time and again.

MaeLou wrote on October 18, 2014, 7:34 AM

I don't think anyone was trying to be rude, but if you think they were, please notify me of where. I've actually told members to feel free to point out the mistakes. I don't think it's being rude, as much as informing you that by not fixing it that it may cause your account to be deleted, or not paid out.

MaeLou wrote on October 18, 2014, 7:39 AM

Funny, I didn't see either of you comment :O It could be me for all I know! Hah!

Scorpie wrote on October 18, 2014, 7:55 AM

Irony is not just a cute name for my iron.

Scorpie wrote on October 18, 2014, 8:13 AM

I had no idea the commenter got the credit, not the article owner. That's backwards from what I expected.

Scorpie wrote on October 18, 2014, 8:15 AM

We hear ya loudman and clear Meg. Thanks for the favorable mention!

angelseguera wrote on October 18, 2014, 9:09 AM

Thanks for everything. You clear my mind now. I am trying to follow all rules.

angily wrote on October 18, 2014, 11:36 AM

we should suggestive and appreciative towards others.

Kwriter-25 wrote on October 18, 2014, 11:44 AM

I would like to know who this person is now. I also had no idea we go credit for our comments. Now I do.

LeaPea2417 wrote on October 18, 2014, 12:06 PM

If someone is rude, I at first try to see if I have broken a rule, if I have not broken a rule, I just go on my merry way and ignore the one who was rude.

Kasman wrote on October 18, 2014, 12:30 PM

No - it's not you!

AliCanary wrote on October 18, 2014, 9:48 PM

Usually people who criticize others feel bad about themselves and are jealous. It's very tiresome to deal with, isn't it!

Kent_123 wrote on October 19, 2014, 3:07 PM

Nice article...nobody is perfect here...practice makes man perfect...just keep posting new articles...interact with new people online...enjoy your writing....I have started following you for reading new posting from you...

idyll wrote on October 20, 2014, 3:53 AM

sounds like someone left rude comment to you? is it? everywhere such kinda rude people in life, it is hard to avoid them. so let them be and keep going with true friends.

Jadecat777 wrote on October 23, 2014, 9:31 AM

I think some people just have this thing about them, they might say something and don't think before hand but I agree that it is best to read the rules until we actually understand it.

Ruby3881 wrote on October 25, 2014, 11:10 PM

It seems to me that perhaps you misunderstood the person's comment, whatever it was. On Persona Paper we will politely point out anything that breaks the rules. Or any sign that the person hasn't understood the specifics of the rule. Like the fact that you wrote "pixabay" for your image credit, when in fact the proper way to give an image credit here is to give the exact link for the page where the image appears with its licensing information. (You can read more info on that on the submit page where the image credit is asked or.)

Nobody needs to be anxious here on Persona Paper. We're a friendly bunch! But yes, please read all the rules. And feel free to ask if you aren't clear. Everybody here is really helpful :)

Ruby3881 wrote on October 25, 2014, 11:12 PM

Ldyjarhead is right: We earn (1 coin) for each unique and relevant comment of at least 30 characters that we post on OTHER users' posts. We also earn (2 coins) for each unique page view. So a comment war, while it may be invigorating, doesn't pay anything extra for the person who authored the post.

Ruby3881 wrote on October 25, 2014, 11:12 PM

You're getting sweeter in your old age, Donald. :P

Ruby3881 wrote on October 25, 2014, 11:15 PM

I suspect the rudeness was perceived because a lot of new users aren't used to being on a site that actually enforces its rules. Some folks don't like another member to correct them, however gently or politely it's done. I've often seen people call a gentle reminder on Bubbs rude too.

angelseguera wrote on October 26, 2014, 12:46 AM

Thank you for the suggestion and I really appreciate when I am reminded in polite way. Maybe I was a little sensitive.

AliCanary wrote on October 27, 2014, 7:04 AM

Oh, if it was a person trying to give advice, that's not rude, it's helpful! I guess it could be done in a rude way, but you can benefit from it, just the same.

Ruby3881 wrote on October 29, 2014, 11:13 AM

Ali, some people automatically assume that if you aren't jumping on their bandwagon and singing their praises, you must be a mean person. Telling them they've broken a rule makes you really mean and rude.

Ruby3881 wrote on October 29, 2014, 11:27 AM

It's counter-intuitive because we're used to the system at Bubblews (which I think is the only place that pays for comments...)

But it makes great sense, because it encourages us to get out and read other people's content instead of focusing only on responding to comments on our own. It also renders any cheating by commenting 100 times on one's own post, a pretty useless waste of time.

Ruby3881 wrote on October 29, 2014, 11:29 AM

I notice you still haven't fixed your image credit. If you need help with that, please don't be shy. We all want to help, here :)

LeaPea2417 wrote on December 12, 2015, 6:06 PM

I try not to be rude to anyone on any site that I write on. I hope you come back and write more, so I can read and interact on your good writing.
