More Ways to Find Freelance Writng Jobs

Set up a Free Website

There are several sites that offer free website building and hosting. All you need to do is put up with an annexed domain name and varying degrees of advertisements on your page. If you are just starting out though a free website can be a good enough solution to your marketing needs.

Build a Writing Profile

It can be difficult to land the freelance writing job when you have no proof of your writing abilities. Instead of giving in to the catch-22 of needing work but having no experience to qualify for the job, you can start submitting content to article directories or even use paid content websites. The articles you post there can be your calling card for additional work because you can now include links on your resume.

This is great advice! Having your own website is a writing resume in itself, as people can get a good feel for the quality of your stuff simply by reading the copy on your home page (make sure to be extra diligent about catching typos and such!), and then you could make yourself a little extra money by referring people to sample articles on sites like Persona Paper that pay for views. Sounds like a win-win!
