Do You Spend Time to Search Job Listings?

While you can take the relaxed approach and sip on a cup of coffee while you scroll through your listings from your blog subscription, the more aggressive way to do it would be to use this as a jumping off point to do your own searching. Freelancers who put aside a couple hours a week to scour the job market and prepare applications are more likely to secure jobs. Working online is convenient and it can pay the bills but nobody said it would be easy to find those opportunities that are real and that turn into longer term gigs as opposed to the scams that can be a real waste of time. It takes time and effort to search through what’s available and then offer your services to the vendors.

I look on monster dot com once in awhile for government jobs. I once considered a job with the FBI as a forensic vehicle inspector.
